The tours differ most in climbing and in how long you are out. The easiest options stay under about 40 km and 300 m of ascent: an old town e-bike ride, a flat traffic-free greenway day and a gravel introduction. The middle of the range is a full-day forest gravel loop. The hardest tours pass 1,100 m of climbing in a day, including a half-day road climb, a long coast road day, a volcanic gravel day and the multi-day camp. Before booking, check the start point, whether a bike is included, what the lunch arrangements are and how the operator handles heat or poor weather. Use the filters to narrow by bike type, difficulty and duration.
